Amazing Sunsets

I've seen this amazing sunset last night here in Athens. It was on top of Likavitos Hill. It was really magical to experience the sun setting over Athens and you could really see the city well, the view was spectacular.

There's definitely something nostalgic about the sunset, something that makes you squint your eyes and reflect, dream. Think of something finishing and the new beginnings.

Tonight I was having dinner with my Greek friends and this is what we were overlooking. Gorgeous Acropolis by night. I've already experienced so many magical moments in Greece and my journey has only started.

Summer Rompers, Little Girls' Shoes that Come in Adult Sizes, Pink Backpacks and Bags to Own in Every Color

Romper craze. I'm glad this trend is in again and we can see such great selection of rompers. Starting with Robert Rodriguez peplum romper in the most fashionable color this season. 6 Shore Road romper is my personal favorite, the price is awesome and it's just screaming "SUMMER." Then Marc by Marc Jacobs romper. I've seen this print on dresses and skirts by him. Fabulous.

Check out this unusual color of the romper by Kenny. Love. Especially on a tanned body. But then what doesn't look beautiful on the tanned body. Another romper, by Alice and Olivia - like and like.

Rebecca Minkoff's sandals remind me of ice cream. There's something sweet and girly about them. You know how you sometimes look at little girls' shoes and wish they made them your size? Well, that's the case here, Rebecca Minkoff made them - just for you, the grown-up version.

Unusual sunset dress by Clover Canyon... I'm still into nudes, nude everything just looks romantic - check out this dress by Alice and Olivia. Victoria's Secret came up with these cool backpacks, had to get one right away.

Loving these little Harper Bags by DVF, could have them in all sizes and most colors. Speaking of all sizes and all colors desire, this Marc by Marc Jacobs bag Petal to the Metal looks awesome in this dark yellow color. Is there a name for this color? It's not mustard or yellow. Something in between the two, with no name known to me.

You may wonder why on earth do I have cutoff shorts on my list. OK because these 7 For All Mankind are a perfect length. I was trying to cut my shorts perfectly and was on a good way but then went shorter and shorter and... let's just say I can't wear them everywhere now. Too short. So I wouldn't mind getting an already cut pair and not touching them. Ha!

Monthly Subscription Boxes - Birchbox June

The Birchbox June subscription box was for the jet setters. How appropriate! I'm actually away as I am writing this. I'm at an outdoor cafe in Athens. People have been warning me that it's hot here but the weather is perfect. Well, I'm saying it after being in Florida for a few days before coming to Greece.

So I have the samples of the nail polish remover with me. So convenient. Haven't tried the Stila one step bronze but I'm definitely open and curious.

I've just got an office and decided right away to have it completely renovated and redecorated. I do know how it is if you don't do it right away. You just won't. I wanted to get a funky wallpaper and stumbled upon Flavor Paper - awesome designer wallpaper store in Brooklyn. The place is an eye candy. So much creativity!

Check out this fishnet wallpaper. Fun!

And this is my choice. I love this new look on zebra. It has some grey in it. I'm just going to do one zebra wall, paired with white and some hot pink or watermelon accents.

Monthly Subscription Boxes Beauty - My Glam

This months My Glam subscription box arrived and I'm in love with the gold glitter pouch, which all the goodies came in. My Glam always packages the samples in different make-up pouches. I wasn't too crazy about the pouch from last month but this time it's spot on. Other than that I'm looking forward to trying the gel cream moisturizer by philosophy.

There's the anti-frizz styling cream as well... The thing about these subscription boxes is sometimes the products are so specific and I'm sure useless for many of us. Like this anti-frizz cream. If my straight as it can be hair decides one day to curl, frizz or give up its straightness, I may reconsider hahaha. The cream still hasn't topped the most useless product, which you can possibly send me, which I received last month. The anti-stretch mark cream. Enough said.

Ok what happened today was just serendipitiously awesome. Just as I launched the Lucid Box - monthly jewelry subscription a FedEx package was waiting for me. I was so excited. Isn't it the absolute best when you really have no idea what's in the package? I'll always love the feeling.
So anyway, timing couldn't be better than that. I received a pair of scissors and these awesome Scotch tapes. It's as if the president of 3M was following my life, he saw that I launched the subscription boxes and said to himself "let's send this girl some tape, she'll need it to seal these boxes."
Hahaha, it sure did happen that way.

If you follow things that teenage girls are all about these days, you'll definitely stumble upon Haul Videos. The concept is simple - girls go shopping - it may be at just one place or multiple locations, then show their fans what they purchased, one thing at a time with their own introductions and opinions. There are haul videos focused only on one brand such as Forever 21 Haul or H&M Haul, haul videos covering a group of products such as drugstore cosmetics haul videos or just in general a haul video showing things purchased that day.

The term haul video was coined by one of the most popular YouTube blogger - JuicyStar07. Her videos get thousands of views each from girls, who are curious what Blair Fowler got today. When I was a little girl I used to spend entire days on a swing. I would swing and swing hoping that one day I'd just take off and fly... Here I am on Governor's Island, it's a short ferry ride from Manhattan, worth a day trip. You can ride bikes and hop on the swings.
