Marimekko Spring 2013 - Jewelry and Makeup

The diversity of styles and creativity I have been experiencing at the New York Fashion Week has been overwhelming. As much as I love looking at the big picture I've been fascinated by the details. Jewelry of course and other accessories but I also love noticing all the unusual cuts and folds. Color combinations and blocking.

Speaking of colors there's no other brand that screams color more than Marimekko.
My enjoyment of the show has been even more amplified by the fact that I know one of the head people behind the brand. It was great to witness such flawless fruit of her hard work in putting this event together. Bravo Anastacia and the crew!

I really like these bangles - perfect fit with the pattern of the dress.

The eye shadows seemed as if the faces of the models were also part of the collection - perfect blend with the patterns.

This was one of my favorite dresses from the Marimekko Spring 2013 collection. The piece makes me think about far away exotic travels.

From the invitations to the seats at the show... Marimekko all the way.
