For me the New York Fashion Week started with the Charlotte Ronson show at the Lincoln Center last night. The look above was one of the strongest ones at the show representing perfectly the Spring 2013 vision of Charlotte Ronson. My first thought was: leather clothing will try to stay with us for a while. It's not only this fall trend but leather tops, jackets and skirts were at this spring 2013 runway show too, paired with transparent jackets. What an interesting combination - leather, which is worn typically in the fall/winter and transparent jackets - seen typically in the spring/summer. I really loved this mix of textures and fabrics.
Transparent, colorful jackets were in abundance in Charlotte's world. So was the transparent belts and jewelry. You can see the clear green bracelet. It looks like a wrap bracelet with a metal buckle. All these girls, who are into not having to remove their jewelry when showering must be happy.

For some reason i'm getting "clueless" the movie vibe from this collection, maybe it's the plastic! but i do love it all!
