I've been thinking of getting a bike for quite a while. I have been undecided about it for years - I was thinking of all the traffic and dangers of riding on the streets in NYC. But just a few weeks ago I decided to just go for it and get a bike. Oh my God what an amazing decision - it gives me so much freedom and flexibility. I'm very careful - I often walk my bike when I see narrow busy streets and I wear a helmet, which by the way was a gift and it makes it so much easier for me to wear it!
I enjoy riding my bike so much here in Montauk. I feel like I live this fabulous beach town life. From a yoga class in the morning to a little work at the local coffee shop waiting until it cools off, then a long reading session at the beach. Oh summer!
