Apple MacBook Pro Retina Display Review Unboxing

These are the specs of the Macbook Pro with Retina Display I got:

Processor 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16BG 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics INtel HD Graphics 4000 512 MB
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4

I'm really happy with my new MacBook Pro. It makes a huge difference to upgrade your computer after four years. I have waited exactly four weeks to receive this configuration and it was way worth it. I'm loving the screen as well. I've been always into the matt screens - that's what my previous MacBook Pro had but this time they came up with a screen that's something inbetween. It doesn't bother me that it's not completely matt.

Things I've been noticing so far:
- the retina display rocks! The larger amount of pixels makes a huge difference.
- the speakers in the computer emit a clearer sound. It's a pleasure to listen to Pandora on it.
- it's so much faster

I still can't get used to the touch pad with no buttons at all. I don't find it annoying, I'm sure it's just a matter of time to get used to it.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Great review! My husband just got one as well and he loves it. He's very happy with the improvements.
