Fashion Bloggers Tips - One Thing I Did Which Keeps Bringing Lots of Traffic to My Blog Everyday
Let me start by saying that in no way I intended to do that. I got lucky. Last September when I was in Paris exhibiting at the Premiere Classe trade show I noticed a lot of trendsetters wearing the same pair of Isabel Marant Beckett sneakers, usually in black. I wrote a blog post about them. And that has been probably one of the best things I could have done for my blog traffic. Everyday I get a lot of traffic thanks to this article. People who search for Beckett shoes, Isabel Marant Beckett sneakers etc. all stumble upon my blog. Incredible!
It's funny that you can make all the promotional efforts in the world on twitter, facebook, posting comments and then you just write one article, which then benefits your blog every day. In summary here's what you do:
Keep your eyes open for the new, latest things and when the time is right write a very timely article about a trend, a fashion item, break the news, be first and wait. The earlier you are, the better - you'll show up higher in searches.

I'm so glad I came across this post from LALM. Thank you so much for sharing this tip because I'm trying to figure out how to increase traffic to my brand new blog. I will keep it in mind when planning and researching for future posts. Wish you all the best with your already awesome blog.

So true! The same thing happened to me, twice!
The first one was I was looking at purchasing something from a website that looked suss so I wrote to the supplier and posted my findings on my blog. It got over 300 hits in two hours!
The second was I went to a store opening and wrote up my review, there were no other reviews on the internet at the time so mine went to the top of the Google list. Hurrah!
wishing you all the best for the future x
It's so true, writing about something current will really drive traffic to your blog.
I wrote about my experience with balayage (dip dying hair) and that gives me loads of hits, but you need to remember to link other relevant content to those big hit posts. If someone visits and leaves straight away that's not a useful hit. Someone who sees something they like and stays makes the hit more meaningful to both parties.

So true! I get tons of hits on a post I wrote a year ago about inexpensive swimsuits at H&M and it still brings in a ton of traffic. It pays to label label label and write about high interest on trend topics. Great post!
