Pikolinos Shoes and Masai Tribe

Last week I had a pleasure to be invited to an event celebrating a collaboration of the Spanish shoemaker Pikolinos with the Masai tribe. The event was organized by the Spanish embassy.
The Masai tribe added their magical ethnic touch designing selected Pikolinos shoes to their liking.

After lunch full of Spanish delicacies we were watching a video showing how the shoes are made. Notice that the video is being screened on another building. Things like that keep impressing me...

Sporting my Theory pants, brand new addition to my wardrobe.

I love the designs. They are all beautiful. By the way, I am a fan of ethnic style sandals.

It's a pretty stylish collection and I love it because it carries a story. The colors and the designs represent their tribe and their culture.
